Conducted by Joanne from The Letter J Supply, we warmly invite you to participate in a collaborative calligraphy jam session. Let's come together to practice and immerse ourselves in the meditative art of calligraphy. Finding time for such a peaceful activity can be challenging, so we've set aside this special time just for you. Join us for this enriching experience.
Note: This session is not guided; however, the instructor will be available to assist you as needed. Please bring your own calligraphy tools; paper will be provided. If needed, tools can be purchased on-site.
Duration: 2-hour workshop
About The Instructor:
Joanne Lim is drawn to the power of words. In her practice, Lim uses words as parameters to imagine and express form. Her spontaneous and thoughtful works deviate from conventional calligraphic forms and are imbued with a distinctive sensibility. Originally trained in graphic design and with a background in advertising, she now runs The Letter J Supply, a studio that creates original artworks and runs workshops with a focus on calligraphy. Her work has been exhibited at The Esplanade, Singapore and featured in various publications.
