A unique jewellery creation experience by Utpala Pearls in collaboration with Marquage Artist Cherin Sim.
Conducted by Marquage Artist Cherin Sim, this 3-hour workshop explores the fundamentals of painting on pearls, the first of such painting experience in Singapore. Participants are recommended to choose simple designs or initials to paint on the pearl.

Location: Bynd Artisan Holland Village Atelier
No prior experience is required.
Sign up is strictly for one participant only.
S$380 class fee is inclusive of:
• 1 x Saltwater Akoya pearl from Japan (8-8.5mm, white)
• 1 x K18 adjustable gold bangle from Japan (suitable for wrist size under 18cm)
All painting materials will be provided.
About The Instructor:
Whilst pursuing a Masters of Fine Art from Goldsmith London, Cherin Sim received the Winston Oh Postgraduate Research Scholarship which brought her to pursue leather-working at Scuola del Cuoio, one of the world’s most iconic leather schools in Florence, Italy.
With her passion for Art and Fashion, Cherin turned her knowledge into a career as a bag maker, designer, and painter working with international brands and individuals seeking bespoke pieces. Cherin, who cites Andy Warhol as her favourite artist of all time, works around Pop-Culture and premium materials to produce one-of-a-kind pieces for her clients.

Bringing in a new dimension in creative jewellry, Marquage Museum and Utpala Pearls introduces a new form of Marquage - Micro Marquage. The collaboration came about with common passion between the two on art, pearls and all things Japan.

Kindly note that rescheduling of the workshop is only allowed up to 3 days before commencement of the workshop. Please note that rescheduling may only be performed once, and exchange/refund is strictly not allowed at any point. We will not be extending the option of rescheduling to participants who did not inform us of no show prior to the start of the session. No-show participants are able to collect their workshop materials from the Atelier.
