Hi Huey. Thank you for taking the time to speak with us and being part of the “Beyond The Canvas” artist showcase. For readers who are not yet familiar with you and your work, could you give us a short self-introduction?
Hi, I am Huey. I am a visual artist. It is my wish that my work brings joy and beauty to the world.

How does art resonate with you on a personal level?
My art is a reflection of my quest to make life beautiful.

What inspired you to pursue art in this field, and what insights have you gained about yourself along the way?
I love painting, it’s one of my deepest desires — to inspire others to see something beautiful in my work. People have always expressed themselves through different art forms, whether it's painting, dancing, acting, or music. To me, art is the highest form of self-expression. I hope that through this journey, I discover who I am while leaving a piece of myself in the world.

Can you tell us about the piece you created for Bynd Artisan’s “10 Years and Beyond” and what it means?
The title of this piece is “FIO,” which stands for “For Its Own.” It was inspired by Oscar Wilde’s profound words: "A flower blossoms for its own joy." This idea resonates with our innate ability to find joy within ourselves. Life may bring countless challenges and sorrows, yet we possess the power to transform every negative moment into a beautiful memory, discovering joy solely for our own sake.

In what ways do you hope your artworks, particularly the “10 Years and Beyond” piece, will resonate with those who encounter them?
As we celebrate Bynd Artisan’s 10th Anniversary and look to the future, I hope this piece brings hope, optimism and joy into everyone’s life. Even in the darkest times, I believe it can remind us all that we, too, have the strength to move mountains.
